Our first meeting is all about getting to know me. We need to work as a team, so I want you to be
100% comfortable with me. We will walk around your home for a preliminary look and talk about
exactly what I can do for you.
Planning
Some realtors combine this step with the first meeting. I prefer two meetings to take a close look
at your home to formulate a plan.
You may wonder should I sell my house first and then buy? Or do I make an offer on a new home that’s
conditional on selling this one? Both have advantages and these are the questions we’ll address
together.
I’ll also guide you through a comparative market analysis to show you exactly where the price will
come from.
Preparation
Once you’re happy with the price and the process, it’s time to enhance your home’s
selling features.
A home staging expert will examine the house and provide low-cost solutions to get the most from the
interior and exterior of your home.
I’m a firm believer that it’s best to properly stage a home (which is why I offer the
service free of charge) to avoid showing it while it is not at its most saleable. Many people rush
their home onto the market and eventually hire a stager, after the fact, because they felt the
offers suffered.
Selling
Is an open house right for you? Each situation is unique and it may not be right for you. During
this process, I make sure to advertise your house in the right places (including your home’s
own website) and show it to the right people. You are kept actively involved as I give you feedback
after each showing to make sure we’re still offering the right price.
The Offer
It’s important to me that we take a close look at all the terms and conditions of each offer to see
the whole picture. I have always found that meeting face-to-face with both parties is more
productive; whether I’m presenting an offer or receiving one.

Once the deal is done, I’m here to do whatever I can to make your transition into your next home a
smooth one. I will also refer you to any professional services you may need, such as:
